On October 30th, Unifor, the Canadian Automobile Workers' Union, stated that after failing to reach a temporary agreement in labor contract negotiations, the union had begun a strike at all Stellantis Canadian factories, with over 8200 members holding the strike.
Previously, on the 27th, Unifor, the Canadian Automobile Workers' Union, stated that it had received a revised labor agreement proposal from Stellantis Group.
