Microsoft to invest $3.21 billion in Swedish cloud computing and AI infrastructure

Microsoft announced on June 3rd that it will invest 33.7 billion Swedish kronor (approximately 3.21 billion US dollars) to expand its cloud computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure in Sweden within two years. This is Microsoft's largest investment in Sweden to date.
Microsoft promises to help train approximately 250000 individuals with AI skills, equivalent to 2.4% of the Swedish population. Microsoft stated that the company is committed to promoting the application of AI in the Nordic region. (Reuters)
