On May 13th, Dingdong Maicai announced that nearby communities would prioritize free distribution of expired food to disadvantaged groups. Under the guidance of the Hangzhou Municipal Market Supervision Administration, Dingdong Maicai collaborated with the Shangcheng District Market Supervision Administration, the Red Cross Society of Shangcheng District, Sijiqing Street, and Shuixiang Community to jointly build a platform for enterprises to donate expired food to the community, and the community would distribute food free of charge to disadvantaged groups.
