The European Commission launched a regulatory process on September 19th to assist Apple in fulfilling its interoperability obligations under the Digital Markets Act (DMA). According to the Digital Markets Act, Apple Inc. must provide free and effective interoperability to third-party developers and businesses, enabling them to use hardware and software features controlled by Apple's operating systems iOS and iPadOS.
