On November 18th, according to First Financial, Nvidia's new generation flagship AI chip Blackwell is being delivered. But market insiders have revealed that Blackwell GPUs can cause overheating issues when used in servers with 72 processors, and these machines are expected to consume up to 120kw of power per rack. Overheating can limit GPU performance and pose a risk of damaging components. On November 18th, a spokesperson for Nvidia responded to reporters regarding this issue, saying, "We are working with leading cloud service providers as an indispensable part of our engineering team and processes. Engineering iterations are normal and expected. Integrating GB200, the most advanced system to date, into various data center environments requires joint design with our customers." Although the latest overheating technology issue may further delay the delivery of GB200, Nvidia's AI chips are still in high demand. In the field of AI chips, nearly 90% of the global market is still firmly controlled by Nvidia. Nvidia stated that "customers are currently seizing the market opportunity for GB200 systems".
