According to a research report by Everbright Securities, Yum! China achieved a revenue of 3.07 billion US dollars in the third quarter of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 5%; Achieve a net profit attributable to the parent company of 297 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 22%. 1) The decline in same store sales in the third quarter narrowed compared to the previous quarter, gradually increasing the proportion of new store franchises. 2) The profit margin of comparable restaurants has improved year-on-year, with a 50% increase in shareholder feedback over the past three years. 3) Strategic transformation is crucial, with increased emphasis on franchising, small store models, and Kenyue Coffee. Since 2024, Yum! China has made a major transformation in store operation, including increasing the proportion of franchise stores, launching Pizzahut WOW stores, KFC Town Mini stores and Kenyue Coffee. The proportion of franchise stores will further increase in the next few years. The proportion of franchise stores in KFC's net new stores will increase to 40% -50%, and that of Pizzahut will increase to 20% -30%.
