Today, you can use ChatGPT to clone your voice and plan three meals a day for you, but what will the future of artificial intelligence (known as AI) do with appalling things? The answer may be hidden in the books written by 10 science fiction writers who, in their fantasy world, are able to satisfy human desires, overthrow governments, disrupt economies, save humanity, and perhaps replace humanity.
According to some, the first AI science-fiction role was Arthur C. Clarke, a 1968 novel entitled Space Rover 2001 (2001: A Space Odyssey) and Hal, a movie with Stanley Kubrick. But a small survey of the Wall Street Journal employees has moved the timeline further. We also interviewed Ann Leckie, author of the award-winning series Ancillary Justice, about the latest insights into the future shape of AI.

I, Robot (1950) - Isaac Asimov
AI's Science Fiction of the Mountain. It is a short book on the unintended consequences of self-will and the creation of autonomous lives. The three laws of robots are from this book.

4. Neuramancer (1984) - William Gibson
Henry Case is a Sabotage hacker who's going to do a big job — as long as he's better than the God-like alms of the world that Gibson has built. The novels are simple and clear, and the post-modern sense of modernity will keep the fans of The Matrix and The Peripheral alive.
5. The Diamond Age (1995) - Neal Stephenson
This steam punk novel tells the story of how an orphan, with the help of a supercomputer mentor, breaks through class chains and overcomes uncontrolled capitalism. AI is a book in the story. This Dickens-style epic is replete with technological optimism in the early days of the Internet age.
6. The Windup Girl (2009) - Paolo Bacigalupi
The book, Me, Robots of the era of climate change, addresses such topics as globalization, environmental degradation and sex trade. The condensed and rich scenes make it easier for readers to manage these heavy issues.
7. The Moon (Cinder) (2012) - Marissa Meyer
The new author of the fairy tale, Cinder, is a Saborg, and her best friend, a biologist, is involved in a battle between the moon and Earth's space. A book that suits young people.
8. All the Birds in the Sky (2016) - Charlie Jane Anders
This dark romantic novel of the near future tells the story of a witch and a scientist, and really combines AI with magic. The author is one of the leading figures in the new science fiction, and a beautiful writing has raised the story of the youth novel to a higher level.
9. All Systems Red: The Murderbot Diaries (2017) - Martha Wells
This humorous, convoluted novel, wearing the cover of the murder suspect, explores consciousness and emotion, and the killer robot in the novel is a good man without sex. The book makes it impossible to stop reading, and other novels in the same series are very popular.
10. Klara and the Sun (2021) - Kazuo Ishiguro
This near-future sci-fiction tells the story of a bionomer nanny who believes in the sun and a sick child. The novels of the Day, the author of the book, and the winner of the Nobel Prize, the master of black and black, have all expressed insights about love, slavery and dedication, like Long Days.
